How does this person know their child got in to AAP if the letters haven't gone out yet?

They are not in fcps right now so
Maybe that made a difference. I didn't quiz them; they just told me.

Apples and oranges. There is a completely different process and timeline for those coming from out of county.

I wonder if schools will receive the list via email tomorrow and letters will arrive in mailboxes on Wednesday

The letters may have been mailed out today. But the come from central AAP office, not backpacks.

Shrevewood is having orientation Thursday morning. They say they will call eligible parents, so I would assume they don't expect the letters to be out by then.

I think it is Thursday evening, but I could be mistaken.

That is a change from what Michelle Eugene said at the PTA meeting last month. Will confirm with her.

The change was in the newsletter that came home with the Thursday folder last week.

My question is how that is going to work when they march 20% of the class out of class and to the library for orientation. The poor kids left behind will figure it out. I'd rather they have it either without kids or at night so it's not so obvious who got in and who didn't. Also, what about the parents who work? Or is that expectation that if you work, your kid must not be good enough? (Just kidding about that last statement.)

Ugh! I didn't get a newsletter! Thanks for telling me I agree, I would prefer it at night.

Kids should attend the orientation, too? Why?
They already familiar with the School.

I'm a working mom, I wish they held the orientation at evening.
