Next weekend would be too late, with orientations starting on May 6. |
To a reasonable person, yes. To the AAP office, who cares? |
So is it like college where if you get in you get a big, fat envelope stuffed with orientation material and if you're rejected, you get a skinny, little envelope that just says sorry, we regret to inform you..... |
Rejection: 1 page Acceptance: 2 pages |
If accepted, there will be a green form for the parents to tell AAP office if their DC will opt for the center/LLIV/not going. The deadline for that form back to AAP office is 5/15. |
I just did a quick thread search. Last year the letters were postmarked 4/26/12 and parents began getting them in the mail on 4/27/12. Notwithstanding AAP office's "official line" about 4/30/13, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't start getting the letters tomorrow. |
Sorry about the double negative. Clearly my VCI is sub par! I meant that I won't be surprised if the letters begin arriving tomorrow! Good luck everyone! |
I think you all need to chill as in the scheme of things this really doesn't matter . . . |
PP are you kidding? My DC's future is at stake here! If he/she does not get in to AAP I will be branded a failure by my peers! In addition, DC will have to go to a community college if he/she does not get in to elementary school AAP! |
You don't need to tell others what matters or not matters.
If you are not interested, don't click the thread. |
Thanks. This is useful. I had thought that we may receive them this weekend. |
DC is in. His teacher hand delivered the letter to my home. She said it could get lost and didn't want to take any chances. |
Wow! That's pretty nice. |
The letters get mailed through the central AAP office. I find your story quite . . . fictional. |
Agreed. The letters will be mailed out of the AAP office on Tuesday. |
