I like the two dresses pictured. I think they're cute, but I wouldn't call them maxis. Just knee-length jersey dresses.

uh yeah, it's called a maxi in contrast to a mini, as in miniskirt/minidress. I thought that was obvious, but I guess not...

Obviously not. There is a whole world in between a mini and maxi. I thought it was based on material, because maxi are typically just jersey or jersey-ish.

Sweetie, you don't know what a maxi is. It's ankle length. The dresses you linked to are just normal dresses!
