| I like the two dresses pictured. I think they're cute, but I wouldn't call them maxis. Just knee-length jersey dresses. |
|
Currently obsessed with this one:
http://www.eluxe.ca/en/ella-moss-short-sleeve-maxi-dress-black.html The picture of it on the model is just so adorable. |
| uh yeah, it's called a maxi in contrast to a mini, as in miniskirt/minidress. I thought that was obvious, but I guess not... |
Obviously not. There is a whole world in between a mini and maxi. I thought it was based on material, because maxi are typically just jersey or jersey-ish. |
My husband hates when I wear them. He has called me Mrs Roper while I was wearing a maxi dress before. |
That's muu muu but I guess moo moo works too b/c they make you look like a cow. |
| Why is Mrs. Roper posting on DCUM???? Step away from the computer and get over to the Regal Beagle. |
| Do all the people making Mrs. Roper references think they're the first person witty enough to come up with it, or do think they it's just so gosh darn funny it bears repeating in back-to-back posts? |
| Who is Mrs. Roper? |
| Can someone please post a pic of Mrs Roper...I would if only I knew how to... |
| fyi, Facebook has a page called "mrs Roper's muumuu" |
Seriously. In Hawaii people still wear Mu-Mu's. WTF maxi-dress in the city? |
| Surprise, surprise: I am only on page two pf this thread and an ad for maxi dresses is on the side or the webpage. |
OMG, it looks ugly. |
Sweetie, you don't know what a maxi is. It's ankle length. The dresses you linked to are just normal dresses! |
