Why does Netflix suck so bad now?

Huh. I've managed to get really great foreign films, classics, and tv on live stream. Better options yet available through mail in... maybe I just have weird taste (ex: I'm obsesssed with Japanese director Kurosawa)

We canceled ours. The movies for the most part were movies we have never heard of and to me it went from bad to worse...wish more people would speak up so they would be compelled to change things!

Love Kurosawa! Yojimbo, The Seven Samurai, and High and Low are my favorite films. The only problem I have with netflix streaming is there have been times when I'm mid way through a series and I get the message that it's going away in a couple weeks. Once I wound up finishing the series on youtube.

i could just watch a movie on youtube and it would only be 3.99 but on netflix it is 7.99 a month but at least it is not 26.99 a month like TMN

I don't read the business pages, so didn't know about this. But when PP mentioned a deal with Disney, I thought OH! That's why we've been able to get higher quality kids movies lately! I wonder if this deal has anything to do with recent changes at all...

Disney is in full effect on Netflix KIDS. Its great. My kids are thrilled to have all the new shows... and tons of Disney movies!

So many of their discs don't play.

For what I have spent on notflux i could have bought entire seasons of shows I enjoy, without the hastle of wandering if it will be there the next day. Goodbye netflix, I will do to you what I did to walmart. If you dont provide me with a service that I want goodbye. I hope Lowes is not owned by wallyworld because they get all my business now.

Uh, Orange is the New Black and House of Cards are enough reasons to never get rid of netflix.

Not to mention the hordes of customers they lost due to throttling, lousy streaming options when there are better options elsewhere, splitting their DVD-by-mail service from their streaming service, etc. Might be affecting their ability to function the way they used to.

Amazon prime streaming is not much better, btw. And Netflix does have the advantage of the Wii connection that amazon hasn't added yet. (Anyone in the know here? Are they ever going to offer a Wii interface?)

Probably not, because Amazon just came out with their version of a Roku- Apple TV- type interface for $99.

+1 stick it to the man.

This is called "stealing". Why don't you just go into Best Buy and stick the Dvd's you want in your purse? It is the same thing.

We have Netflix and Amaon Prime and like this combo. I never have trouble finding something to watch, though we so buy a movie once a month or so if we are wanting something specific.

They do that, too, don't worry. That people think this kind of stealing is okay because they have no hard copy to show for it is really offensive. For all the overpaid big names in movies, there are three hundred employees who get paid less with every entitled freak who steals.

I wish Netflix would disclose when a movie or season of TV is going to disappear. Surely they know when a contract is ending; put it on there.

I like old movies and netflix used to have great selection and great foreign films now. Netflix used to be fun! Guess I'll cancel streaming and stick with dvds.
