Tushy.

Tushy? Do you mean touche?

Humor, get a sense of it.

Anonymous wrote:I am always surprised at how witty, sharp, but arrogant and insulting DCUM'ers can be. I'm curious if their education and job matches their big ego and fork-like tongues!

-What is your job title?
-Where did you graduate from and what was your rank or G.P.A.?
- How much do you make?

- Whatever I want it to be. Today it is "The Boss, Applesauce"

- Unlike most of you, I have no need to rely on accomplishments from 15+ years ago as a crutch. Who cares? What have you accomplished recently? Why do you need an overpriced piece of paper to validate you? Yes, I graduated from college. So can anyone with the money to pay for it, and the ability to read. It has very little do to with my life today.

- That's none of your damn business, and I will thank you to stay out of my personal affairs.

Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner! LOL!

Lol, this is a good one. I am not usually a snarky poster, but I can't bear not to chime in here and gently point out that being a lawyer ain't really all that. When my graduate program was getting tough I thought about dropping out to go to law school cause it would be soooo much easier. I stuck it out and have a Phd in a hard science, not interested in sharing any more details and sure as sh!t don't walk around like I'm the only one with a brain.

If you're not a lawyer, how would you know, and why would you care? You sound like you have an inferiority complex despite your phd in "hard science."

Ergo, reason for a need for a phd in hard science. How else to show others you are superior to them and how smart you are?

Did enjoy being a lawyer in your home country, assuming you worked in the field? What about doing an LLM and working for an international law firm?

I have seen this poster's abrasive, obnoxious comments before! This is not the first time she has badmouthed lawyers, always weirdly qualifying that she has a PhD in "hard science." There's definitely some backstory here, could not get into law school perhaps? Jealous of lawyers for reasons unknown?

I christen you, PhD in Hard Science Troll! Congratulations!

OT but why Tier 4 LS--did you really want to be an attorney or did they give you a free ride?

I really wanted to be an attorney, but didn't have the grades/score to get into Tier 1. I got a 50% scholarship, which seemed like a good deal. I figured the job prospects for what I wanted to do wouldn't be any different from a Tier 4 as a Tier 2. From my experience in the public sector, this has been true. I'm not sure how the market is today and if I would have had the same luck. I'm glad I picked the fed position, as I have a family and cannot imagine working more than 40 hours a week and balancing family.

Why on EARTH would anyone be jealous of a lawyer?

I have no skin in the game. I'm not a PHD and i never even graduated college, but still make 160k/ yr and hit the jackpot when i worked for a tech company that went IPO which was a game changer. Jealous of a lawyer?? Lots of debt, long hours, and a huge ass from sitting on it 10-12 hrs a day... no thanks.

PhD in hard science lady, what kind of hard science is it? Do you do research and development?
