YES. What's so funny to me is how the liberals here don't just have opinions, they KNOW that their viewpoint is THE correct one. Everyone else is just too dumb/ignorant/unenlightened to see things the right (left) way. |

It's great how you worked in a complete overgeneralization there. Were you trying to be ironic? Or just inadvertently being a total hypocrite? |
Um, that's 'cause the progressive viewpoint is the correct one. What's so funny to ME is how right-wing nut jobs leave their holy-roller towns and cities to come make money here and then complain about the culture. Don't like it? Leave! San Francisco is an amazing city, btw. |
I don't find this to be true at all. I do find that liberals are eager to show you that they can support their views with factual evidence, and that supporting their views with facts is what convinces them that their position has merit. I wish that conservatives demonstrated equal interest in supporting their positions with facts. Instead, I find that they rely on attacking the character or culture of liberals. (see above) |
Wow - ditto this. I love a good political debate but finding a rational conversative to debate with is becoming extremely hard. |
Watching the DNC last night, all I could think was "How can anyone not agree with this?"
And watching the RNC, all I could think was "This room is full of old, white people. This is not America." |

You do realize that Honey Bo Bo (the reality show) had higher ratings than the Republican National Convention, right? You really don't think a large portion of this country lives in ignorance? Really? |
OK, first the obvious: the convention delegates come from across the country. Now for the merely stereotypical: Florida is only 58% white. It's 23% Hispanic, 16% black, and the rest is mixed/other. |
