You mean, if you're a 12 year old boy.

This thread has become bat shit crazy.

Or instead of making her bed, she values looking attractive. I'd rather look good than have a made bed.

Actually I was a new poster, just thinking you are one odd bird-who most definitly needs more to do with her time.

Sorry dear, but men do have the occasional wet dream. Is there sunshine and rainbow pooping unicorns in your world?

I don't usually make my bed, but I feel so much happier when I do. In fact it's funny that this post is here now b/c making the bed is a new year's resolution for me. I love walking into my bedroom in the evening and remembering that I made the bed that morning. Why have pretty linens and a gorgeous comforter if they only ever get to be in disheveled heap?

I think in that book The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin she recommended making the bed as one easy step to gaining some control and feeling calmer. Plus it makes the whole room look more tidy IMO.

What are you talking about? Perhaps, you're 12. Your comments are indicative of a preteen's though process.

Okay...But you change your clothes after a day of sweating and wash them before you wear them again. You just sweat in the same sheets night after night until you change the bedding. Also, don't get me started on the dead skin that people slough off each day. It's definitely better to leave your bed uncovered during the day rather than making the bed and protecting the funk in a nice warm and dark environment.

I def don't sweat in my sleep since I am freezing cold every night. DH is another story. So our sheets do get changed often

Seriously? Is 45 minutes ridiculous? It takes me 10 minutes just to shower. Then get dressed ( 5min.) Then I have to dry my hair (at least 15 minutes), then makeup and styling hair (15 minutes), I guess I need to go butch. If anyone one else has a shorter routine, let me know!!

5 min shower, 2 or 3 mins to get dressed. I wash my hair, then let it partially air dry before blow drying it completely dry and then curling. 25 minutes, start to finish. Do you drink coffee? If so, try to drink it as soon as you get up, and you'll zoom through the morning toilette.

I look great 4 days out of five, and it doesn't take me 45 minutes.

I make the bed right before getting into it at night. DH thinks it's crazy.

I love how our room feels/looks when the bed is made so I make it every morning. DH likes it too. It also is nicer getting into a made bed at night ann only takes 2 minutes. If for some reason we dont get to making the bed in the am (rare) we'll make it right before bed.

You gotta create an easy bed to make.
