anyone have a DC who hums while they eat

| I think it will be really irritating to others as she gets older. At some point you can start teaching her to stop humming by framing it as bad manners. |

| Wow, is it strange I wish my DD did this?! I sang growing up and was very hoping that my DD was also musically inclined, but I think she got her dad's side and is just not, at all. |

My now one year old has been doing this since she was 8 months...but its more of a contented moan than anything. Its cracks me up and the daycare caretakers tell us "she really loves food!"
But if I am being honest with myself, I do worry a little about her. Our oldest likes to eat but never LOVED it like she does. My husband is a bigger guy who has an unhealthy relationship with food and we both know we need to find ways to encourage a healthy relationship with food for our kids. |
