Subject: Onset of autism symptoms?

The purpose of the SN board isn't just to share our stories, grief, misery, and seek advice for having autistic children. It's for any parent who has a child with special needs and special needs is not simply defined as autism. But another purpose of this forum is to educate others about SN children and to also elicit their support and understanding. By banishing all parents of neurotypical children from this board because it hurts those of us who don't have neurotypical children we undermine this second albeit important purpose. We all know OP did not come to this forum to stick it to us; she came seeking knowledge. As parents who have SN kids, it's our duty to provide us, at least from those of us who aren't as sensitive to her questions.
