Anybody heard of MuniServices LLC working with DC Govt

Is this current? I just got a bill for income taxes with the C from 2011. I have never lived or worked in DC, nor have I had an investments in DC (or owned property there).

I got a same letter, owning tax of $43.87 from 2015, with interested of 485.97, and now I have to pay $529.84. What should I do now?

I received a letter as well from these people and she wanted a copy of my taxes to prove that we did not work in DC. I told her NO - of course. I have not seen any feedback on this thread that anyone has mentioned resolving anything with these people. Can anyone provide an update?

I just received a letter from them stating that I am not registered in the city that my business is in. I have been in business 27 years and am fine. The minute they ask for your ss # it is a scam. anyone can find your tax info. if it was legit they would have your ss number.

Report this company to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

After they investigate, if they are not able to resolve, they will turn this over to the Federal Trade Commission. If enough people report this company, maybe they will back off. I have not heard anything else from them since I reported them. Hopefully I will not hear from them again!
