You're going to be disappointed. AI is going to make a bunch of roles even more valuable. Others less so. And will create new ones. AI does not replace human interfaces or decision making, it can advise on those but not replace it. The highly paid jobs are all about human interfaces and decision making. |
This may be high for program managers but this is standard for technical program managers. There is a big difference between program managers and technical program managers, especially if the technical program managers has the same qualifications as a software engineering manager. |

You are right about decision making, but you are wrong about human interfaces. Human interfaces will be reduced to a minimum. Decision making will be made by humans, but you don't need thousand people to make decisions. The result will less jobs. |

You’re underpaid - that’s manager level comp for non tech roles at our tech company that’s also one level below FAANG. You should be at $600K TC minimum at Director level, unless your company inflates titles. |
What unique qualities/training do you have or highly skilled level of work do you perform that warrants that level of compensation? Serious question. |
I too would like to keep my East Coast major city level of compensation but have small town rust belt cost of living. C'mon man. |
