Re the sleep issue, it's possible that a) her circadian rhythm is delayed (common in teens/20s) thus she has difficulty falling asleep before 1-2 AM and b) she needs more sleep (19 year olds actually still need 8 hours of sleep, maybe 9, to function optimally). Circadian delay is fixable/treatable with some combination of following a strict bedtime/wake time schedule, morning bright light, reducing light exposure at other times including screen exposure at night, and carefully timed melatonin. Fixing this could help her to feel less like a zombie before 10-11 AM, both because she's getting more sleep and because her body rhythm is more aligned to the 9-5 workday. Suggest discussion with primary care about whether a visit to a sleep specialist is warranted, v. ADD eval.
