| All evidence points to NO. Not innocent. |
Honestly, yeah, the way some MJ fans talk I think they probably would. Deeply delusional bunch. Young women are writing erotic fanfiction about him, they are turning him into some sex symbol, even though every "girlfriend" he ever had said it was either platonic or they tried to have sex with him and he was deeply messed up about sex. (Wasn't the story that when Tatum O'Neal tried to have sex with him he ran out of the room crying and vomiting? Even though she was like 14 and he was 18, which doesn't exactly help the allegations.) |
He claimed Tatum O'Neal tried to have sex with him, and then when she heard he said that she was basically like wtf no I didn't. Why he would make up a story that makes him look like a complete weirdo is beyond me. Lisa Marie Presley said he was a virgin when they started dating but then went on to say he was good in bed, which is a mental image I could've done without. I think Brooke Shields was his "girlfriend" in the sense that she was his friend who was a girl, lmfao. They both said it was more of a close friendship than anything sexual. |
I will say Brooke Shields has a tendency to make literally every cultural moment about her. When JFK Jr. was the 90s celebrity of the month in March, she would not stop talking about the one time they made out. If she had something significant to say about Michael Jackson she would've said it by now. |
| Michael Jackson was a sick person. He was very much guilty. People are excusing his behavior; he was abused, he didn’t have a childhood, mentally ill. But no matter the reason, he was wrong and guilty. No grown man today would send their little boy to sleep in the bed with another grown man. Sure he may not have penetrated the children but let’s not be stupid. People felt like they grew up with him and they admired him so they were willing to excuse the behavior. |
| I think he was innocent |
| I think he was innocent of any sexual abuse or harm. Was he weird with kids and did he have an inappropriate obsession with being around them? Yes. I don’t think he would ever harm a child. I just think he never had a childhood himself and viewed himself almost childlike and therefore wanted to be around children so that he could experience childhood through them. I even think toward the end of his life he was morphing himself into being Mickey Mouse. He looks oddly like MM in his later years with the rosy cheeks, pointed chin and eyeliner. He wanted to be a real life MM to kids and didn’t see anything wrong with it. |
This is my take, too. No normal grown man invites young boys to sleep in bed with them. There is no innocent explanation for what Michael was doing. |
You're giving him way too much credit with the looking like Mickey Mouse. He looked like that bc vitiligo required him to add in contouring/blush/eyeliner like an old white woman and he went way too heavy handed half the time. Also he was addicted to plastic surgery, hence the little snub nose and pointy chin. |
While he may have loved the kids or not wanted to "harm them" being inappropriate with a minor can absolutely harm them since they just don't know any better. Grown men and young boys shouldn't be friends the way he was friends with these boys. There's a boundary there that he crossed again and again. |

NP. I've always been inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I think I'm done doing that after reading this today (gift link): https://www.wsj.com/arts-culture/film/michael-jacksons-biopic-blinds-us-from-the-truth-6a41b5a6?st=DLhwtr&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink |
| My question is what parent would let their kid sleep in the same bed as a grown man? They should be in jail for that |
|
I think he crossed the line allowing kids to sleep in bed with him. Not familiar with the details such as identifying information the kids knew.
I think if they were going after Michael Jackson, they should have gone after the kids' parents as well. Who the hell allows their young kids to sleep in the same bed as an unrelated male? |
