Joe Kent Resigns!

Anonymous
Bewildering that the concept of disliking Israel’s policies and actions is conflated with a more generalized dislike of Jewish people, and treated as the immoral crime of the millennium … by the very same people who feel fully justified in disliking Arabs and Muslims.

Make it make sense, I guess?

Holy moly!

“I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran,” Mr. Kent, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, wrote in a social media post. “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”

He’s positioning himself for a future in the America First section of the MAGA movement.
Tucker, Meghan Kelly, MTG, Fuentes. You know, the racist, anti-semites that are a growing portion of the GOP. These folks aren’t dying out, they are the young republicans in all the chat rooms.

+1 he is also pro Russia which tracks with this crew. America First is going to be the successor to MAGA. The writing is on the wall.

NP. Honestly, you people constantly speak out of both sides of your mouths. First, you’re dead set against this war, foaming at the mouth about it endlessly. Now someone has spoken out about it, declined to participate, and resigned - and you’re criticizing him?? Your hypocrisy is just head spinning. Make up your minds, already.

Multiple things can be true at once. I don’t think it is bad to consider the direction this is heading towards.

People they like = oppressed.

People they don’t like = terrorists.

The two things are not contradictory. He's calling out the stupidity of this war, which is great, but it may be for personal/political reasons, not noble motives as he states. It's okay to be skeptical.

It’s interesting how voices on the right are calling out this war more forcefully than leaders of the Democratic party.

Big mistake. He just made himself a huge enemy in Israel. Expect him to be called an anti-Semite.

Are you serious? He’s hardly the first voice to condemn what’s occurring and WHY it’s occurring.

There’s precisely one reason why anyone is skeptical of those obvious facts - and yeah, they ARE facts - and we all know what it is.

So sick and tired of this bullshit …

Watch the mainstrean media spin it as

"Joe Kent regined because of his objection on China"

Lolololol

Can someone please explain what Trump just said on this topic?

He said he "always thought" that Kent was a nice guy, but that he was “was weak on security, very weak on security.”

So he appointed him head of the National Counterterrorism Center?

My brain hurts from this one. A lot.

Given the incentives to leave that federal workers have been offered, and given concerns about whether it's possible to work with integrity under Trump 2.0 (1.0 was challenging enough), many career employees have left the intelligence agencies over the past year. More will follow.

This guy was political, not career. He was a MAGA congressman before doing this.

And a rabid anti-semite, which explains his decision to blame Israel and the Jews for Donald Trump's decision. This guy gets zero credit for this.

Wait I thought only the leftist and progressive were antisemitic? Where are your charges of antisemitism against Rubio? He said basically the same thing. Why has Rubio not been arrested?

Horseshoe politics. The extremes meet at the ends.

Democrats for some reason are scared for the Israeli lobby.

This is the disingenuous gaslighting playbook from Israel. You can't criticize the government's actions without being called antisemitic. It's really no different than saying criticizing the US government means you're anti-Christian. I think more and more Americans are seeing through this BS, though.

He lost his wife in Syria while she was doing intelligence in the military. I know there is a lot of MAGA grifting and ulterior motives to go around, but I genuinely think he sees something is very wrong.
