Do you mean you have a gas fireplace? I have a gas furnace and it won't work in a power outage. |

our gas fireplace works w/o power (either leave it on so the gas doesn't turn off or there's a backup battery starter) and the gas cooktop works too but no hot water is a bummer |

I have teens and am in menopause. 3/4 of us won’t be cold since we are always so hot. DH will be huddled somewhere under all of the blankets.
The kids will be eating all of the food and using their cells until they die, recharging with all the ways we can do that and using them until they die again. I have plenty to do around the house and plan on getting a start on the taxes. We have lots of battery back ups and devices fully charged. But I don’t think we will lose power. |

Last time it happened for me it was just because some car hit my road utility pole
Without power for 5 days I had my devices charged I got to know all the giant coffee table books I purchased a long time ago, or inherited I got to know the books on my shelves all over again James Clavell and James Michener were really cool authors of books to get to know again |
