Well, he appears to think that the country of Norway selects Nobel Peace Prize recipients (which it does not).

His text exchange with the Norwegian head of state (published in today’s Bew York Times) is just pathetic. He can’t form a grammatical sentence. His tone is that of a petulant child.

How did any US adult think he should have control of our might?

And how can Republicans in Congress believe we are safe when he is unfettered??

Correct. Did you see the video of that meeting with oil executives and the moment when Trump trails off mid-sentence, then gets up to look out of the window at his ballroom site? In that moment, Vance laughs and looks around the room and Rubio smiles; they exchange a glance. I guarantee you that Vance purposefully wanted to laugh this off, as if to say: "My, my the President is full of whimsy today. What a jolly free-flowing conversation we're having." He looked around the room, daring others to think anything else.

He knows Trump is demented. But it serves the entire Cabinet's purpose to keep the demented figurehead so the graft can continue (or the political agenda, depends on the person and their motivations).

I think he got up to fart in the corner, but that's not the important point.

The one hope I have is that since Trump insists on being filmed every day (whether taking meetings at the WH, on the Air Force One answering press questions, etc. etc.), the day will come that he will say or do something so epically inappropriate that his JD, his cabinet, and his handlers will be forced to do something about it. It's not like in Biden's case where his staff managed to minimize his contact with the press and other people. He is falling apart in front of our very eyes and at some point even the most hardcore MAGA will see it.
