This is 100% on the Trump administration.

Nope. ICE’s actions are 100% on the Trump administration.

If people get killed as the result of this list, that’s on people who distribute the list.

You are gross and smarmy.

That reassures that releasing the list is the right thing to do.

“Gross”? Are we 8?

This argument is worse than your first one. Come back with something good.

I thought people with guns kill people.

Now you're saying people with lists kill people?

It's just so confusing.

Understandable. My sympathies.

No, those of us who abstain from Twitter do so for a reason. If we wanted a constant barrage of content we could sign up for ourselves.
When I see it here I scroll on by.

Scroll by then. Most people on this forum are not going to read new information unless it’s in a format that is easy to read. Most do not have the time or the desire to be clicking on links to newspaper articles or whatever else to get the info.

True but most of the info posted by the "losing side" of most issues on this forum is patently false, bordering on delusion with zero citations because there are no reasonable sources that exist.

I’ve made my case. Try making yours, preferably by reference to a universally applicable standard for when it’s appropriate to publicly divulge people’s personal information for political reasons.

More likely to make them afraid for themselves and their families.

Which in turn makes it more likely that someone else gets shot.

It’s not smart, even if you are a fan of doxxing.

It’s not doxxing, it’s accountability.

They are perfectly welcome to get real jobs.

It’s not doxxing?

It’s the very definition of doxxing, and it’s being done to instill fear and incite violence.

In other words, it’s very Trumpian.

Are you one of the DHS influencers that is on the DHS $8M payroll?

Because no reasonable person would argue this.

How about you make an argument that distinguishes this from doxxing? Then we can discuss.

It’s a list of names. What’s done with it is where it might become doxxing.

As Americans right now we have limited power to fight back against this domestic terrorism. I’m sorry if it hurts your feelings, but they are kidnapping and murdering people.

Go cry elsewhere.

gotta fight fire with fire. Why are they wearing masks? People have no idea if the so called ICE agents are legit or not. They also need to be able to identify those ICE agents who break the law.

Fight fire with fire?

Immoral. Two wrongs and so forth…

Please explain this to Trump, our leader, not some anonymous posters.

It’s not even fire with fire. It’s like trying to clear a few leaves so that it doesn’t spread and burn us all alive.

The doxxing is ICE unlawfully using private data to lead observer vehicles following ICE vehicles straight to their own homes. Two accounts of this reported yesterday. To scare them.

For a start, because the admin is shielding unlawful acts by agents when they occur. This allows people to identify perpetrators. Also, because the admin has bee unlawfully accessing private data to be used against people. Also, because when in the course of human events it becomes necessary.

Does anyone have a link to the list that works? Thanks.

Makes no sense whatsoever.

1. Recourse for unlawful acts is legal proceedings (civil or criminal). If admin blocks criminal, then identities discoverable during civil. Even were that not the case, this list will end up affecting far more uninvolved than it will perpetrators.

2. How does admin unlawfully accessing info relate to or justify disclosure of this list in any way?

3. In the course of human events…? Delusions of grandeur with a dose of Red Dawn fantasies for good measure?

Feelings irrelevant—it’s about distinguishing between right and wrong.

Ironically, it’s your feelings that are the crux of the issue—specifically reliance on them in lieu of thinking through this issue in a logical, principled, and universally applicable way.
