I think the government should prepare a publicly searchable database of all non-authorized immigrants, with entry points, time in country, removals, charges, known family, jobs, addresses, use of services, among other elements.

I don't actually believe this should be done, but if we are putting one group at risk, let's put all groups at risk. That's what the Internet is for, right?

Do you need an adult?

You're a silly.

ICE is the Gestapo. They execute moms. They disappear people.

Hey everyone, here’s all their info. Go get ‘em!

Good luck.

More akin to the klan and slave catchers.

With stand your ground in 29 states and the castle doctrine in the rest. They’re probably leaving their doors unlocked at night in anticipation.

I have seen a number of veterans talk about insurgency, but I guess that they save particulars for more secure applications.

But you’re starting out with a false premise. ICE was never “at risk” before they started rampaging through American cities masked and waving around their guns. Now ICE has escalated exponentially in Minneapolis with extrajudicially executing a U.S. citizen and all the other BS ripping people out of cars and beating people up. This problem started at the beginning of Trump’s second term when Miller wasn’t getting the numbers he wanted.

Of course, the government should know who is entering the country and for the most part it does. The overstay and illegal work issue wouldn’t be a problem if we did e-verify. But somehow no one who complains about immigration ever wants to do that.

And finally civilians have privacy rights that federal employees do not.

Federal employees don't have privacy rights? Are you on drugs?

Not the same ones that private civilians do. Think identifying yourself if you are law enforcement, being subject to drug testing, background checks. C’mon you know that. Enough of the faux obtuseness.

This is a hugely silly line of reasoning to treat masked goons that are freely assaulting and murdering Americans and other human beings in America like regular federal workers.

Are you mad about how Jeffrey Dahmer was treated in comparison to the rest of the chef community?

That’s nonsensical.
Except for a very small subset in intelligence roles, the names of federal employees is widely accessible. As it should be. Federal employees work on behalf of the American people and are accountable to them.

ICE personnel are federal employees.

In sensitive security-related roles. They’re more akin to FBI agents than to Interior, for example, and therefore ought be afforded the same protections.

Moreover, there’s a clear risk here. See Luigi, Kirk, Dallas ICE shooting, etc., etc. No doubt that this disclosure will endanger people’s lives.

Not only ICE and their families, but anyone ICE perceives as a threat—as you may have noticed, ICE is not known for its restraint.

It’s stupid, dangerous and wrong.

More whistleblowing and disclosures will be forthcoming, I’m sure.

This is 100% on the Trump administration.

Nope. ICE’s actions are 100% on the Trump administration.

If people get killed as the result of this list, that’s on people who distribute the list.

Remember “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” The list is just a tool, and the people who distribute it aren’t responsible for the actions of people who might be irresponsible with it.

I stole that from the gun nutters on the right. Their words not mine!

The ICE agents?

Not all of them.

A lot will just go back to whatever menial jobs they were doing last year.

This admin couldn’t indict a ham sandwich. Good luck with that.

Even if they could make it past a Grand Jury, good luck finding a jury to convict.
