I watched the last episode last night. The tooth does come back in the scene where Anna and Lexi are fighting. Anna's dentist told her that she might lose the tooth. When it came loose in the gith, Anna reached in her mouth and pulled it out. While not 100% necessary, it did make Lexi think that Anna was completely unhinged and probably influenced how important it was to not let Anna win.

I loved it. Super fun. Some here taking it too seriously.

Anna really had no idea the person she worked with at the station was her former friend? Seems hard to believe.

How did Cat/lexy kill her sister? Did she tamper with the inhaler or something?

The blackmail was not very clear here. Why the friends would wait 10 years to blackmail her over this? Why were Anna/Richard together in the first place? I want to know more about Lexy - did she stalk anna and get a job at the same place? Doubt it's coincidence.

Anna's mom tampered with the inhaler, a change from the book I think. But Cat was gleeful about the death as she ate her donuts.

Is the blackmail in the books? Why would the friends blackmail cat when it was alice? So confused lol

And what were they blackmailing Cat about? The assault caught on videotape that no one but Anna had possession of?

There was mention of blackmail on the texts on Rachel’s phone and it was about C, which Jack assumed was the husband.

There was no blackmail going on. Just one of many red herrings.

This is small potatoes compared with the other mentioned plot holes and such, but I thought t was very weird how Jack drove around in his personal pickup and not a police car of some kind. Also he randomly at times was out in "the field," like when he tried to arrest Clyde, but didn't have his gun on him, for no particular reason. Like did the prop people forget to bring his holster to the set that day?

Jack had to be the most pathetic, bumbling detective ever. Carrying Rachel’s phone around, using his niece’s DNA, constantly shutting anyone down who had a theory, cutting his sister off at the station as she was trying to tell him what happened - it was just absurd.

+1 It almost seemed tongue-in-cheek - like in the flashback scene when Anna was trying to tell him she was pregnant but he just.wasnt.getting.it…he was SO DENSE and did nothing toward solving this crime besides walking around the crime scene and ordering people around. They don’t show him in true police action at all, besides being the biggest idiot on the planet…not following valid leads, shutting his partner down, shrugging off the friendship bracelet thing…he was comically dense, to the point where it seemed like Anna was way too smart for him. Made no sense.

Oh yeah, I missed that while watching. They showed the texts so fast and I could barely remember who was who at that point.

I think the blackmail was just, we will let your viewing public know that you used to be fat and gross.
