When do interview requests get sent out for RD?

We're in Northern Virginia. DC hasn't received an interview invitation from Yale, but just received Harvard invite. Not sure if Harvard prescreens to some extent like Yale does.

Still no interviews aside from MIT for my kid. Is she out of the running for Harvard & Yale?

Since Yale pre-screens applications for interviews, I assume the interview requests don’t arrive at the same time? Thanks.

They don’t. Harvard Club of DC makes an attempt to reach out to every applicant in the area for an interview.

Interviewer here. Harvard tries to interview everyone but keep in mind the process and interviews are run by volunteers so if they are busy or away for the weekend you may not hear from your interviewer until later than others do.

Is there any place to get stats on how many folks Princeton, mit or Harvard interview?

Harvard Club of DC attempts to interview everyone in the DC area and suburbs (not sure what the boundary of suburbs is).

What about Middlebury for RD applicants? The website indicates that those interviews happen in January if offered. Thanks!

Middlebury aims to offer alumni interviews to all applicants, but if demand is too high in a given region, they may not have capacity.

Not for my DC in NoVA. Just MIT, Harvard and Dartmouth.

For Princeton, no. The goal is to interview all.

Does Dartmouth select interviews based on application review?

I’m not sure. We’re in the DMV and 2 years ago DC1 was interviewed by a current Dartmouth student (and accepted RD). This year, DC2 has an interview set up with a Dartmouth alum.
