Homemade from canned young jackfruit. Cooked with ginger-garlic, green chillies, spices, roasted crushed peanuts, coconut flakes, curry leaves... baked with deep fried onions and raisins inside puff pastry sheets.


This sounds even better once you explained the ingredients. An Indian style curry does not appeal but I can see this being amazing with a panang or red curry paste-style filling. Crushed peanuts and coconut flakes...yum. I don't know what curry leaves are. I will have to look that one up. I love thai basil leaves.


I don't think most people know the variety in Indian curries that is part of the cuisine so I am not surprised. Also, how many people know how to cook with young jackfruit anyways?

As for Thai - I would pick Massaman curry. The idea is to mimic a nice spicy shredded "lamb" pastry with just a hint of sweetness. Jackfruit lends to the vegan substitution of meat dishes. The spice mix is the key.

I had a really good bagel in NYC. It was sesame and just has cream cheese and a huge tomato, salt, pepper and a little olive oil.

I ordered Chinese food and got a shrimp with. Veg and brown rice dish. It was awesome- I need to figure out the sauce and make it at home. I already looked up recipes but couldn’t find anything that seemed right.
