I have to look hard to find a non-ivy+ there.

Wow. Life still is about who you were lucky enough to be born to. 😭

Most of the Ivy+ and T30 still suckle from the legacy teet.

Legacy has accounted for as much as 30% of Harvard admits, though it varies from year to year.

Wow, yes...

I was thinking I would see more famous kids at Harvard Westlake but I didn’t.

Is there a link?

Interesting how the Trinity kids are disproportionately Classic and Romance language majors.

Dalton doesn't post till Spring

Same with Packer and Brearley. I don't think Collegiate posts.

Yeah, Collegiate and Horace Mann don’t post historically.

The HM students post unofficially. Try maroonlions26. It won’t be a complete list.

This one is interesting to me. Some Ivy + reaches but a bunch to NYU and lot of meh IMO. Reads to me like HW's counseling office runs a tight ship and clearly directs kids to ED to targets.

Or maybe they simply applied to the schools they actually wanted to attend.
What you like and what kids like are not the same. Some kids don’t care about Ivy League or Ivy-plus prestige.

Ah, a prestige-obsessed mind wouldn’t understand that.

Are people here convinced all these kids are going to be happier? Or just richer? DH and I met at public college, have done very well and are quite happy. I don’t have this belief my kids need an Ivy League education to be happy or successful.

Thanks, with the title/bio, seems like there’s really no way to find it unless you’re affiliated. Mind boggling number of Chicago and Cornell matriculations.

Most privates are like this, and they got the memo decades ago. The way into T20 is as a humanities major.

4 ED to Dartmouth. That's unusual.

It’s always been a jock school by my God, the number of athletic recruits is…something.
