The kid will be bilingual, however. I've known kids that grew up like this and they learned a foreign language to full native fluency as well as a greater appreciation of foreign culture and cuisine. And, no, it wasn't all Mexicans or Spanish language. This should not to be undervalued—in fact it's priceless. Teach your own kids arithmetic, science, English, and history. Why would you trust the average public daycare or elementary school to do this for you? |

Lots of women in other states would kill for the rights she has in NY, and she didn’t even make use of it. This is her own fault. She could’ve chosen not to be on this predicament. Other women in other places don’t get that choice. She sounds dumb and self absorbed. |

That's good to hear. Maybe she made the right choice for her life, given her needs and wants, but these choices involve compromises. What gives her the right to expect the rest of us to subsidize these choices? |
