Chicago police showed up to help ICE and they got teargassed for their trouble. I wouldn't respond either.

NEW—Chicago PD Superintendent DODGES question regarding whether his officers were told to stand down when ICE Agents requested backup.

"I had a conversation with the chief of patrol who was concerned about officers showing up...these federal agents can handle themselves."

I'm not sure why ICE expects local law enforcement to step in and help them when ICE has tear gassed them and wasted their time with bogus 911 calls. If Trump wants the big bad ICE teams in Chicago, then he should be in charge of their protection. Chicago doesn't want ICE here. GTFO and they wouldn't have to worry about it.
