Quoted PP here and ha, true. I'm super short waisted so even moderately low rise (not Paris or Britney low) looks mid-rise on me. Which means I worry less about this than your average Millennial woman.

Middle age women in their skinny jeans look very dated. No one wants to see that.

Perhaps skinny jean enthusiasts could graduate to a cigarette jean, which has the same general shape and is slimming, but doesn't have the jegging look of yore.

I would guess there are quite a few multimillionaires on this board - and yes, we all get to choose what we wear. Which doesn't mean skinny jeans are flattering on most.
