If you found out someone badmouthed you, and it resulted in job loss, would you address it months later?

Her child was in my class. I worked my butt off for that kid, and all the kids. I tried to protect them from the violence and multiple evacuations due to another child in my class.

Instead of asking for support in my classroom, she reported that her child wasn't getting what he needed. To an extent, I agree, because we had a child who was charging at us, throwing pencils, and tossing chairs. No one was getting a proper education but good lord I tried...

Uhhh so it doesn't sound like it was anything against YOU specifically. It had to do with this disruptive kid. I don't know, you seem to be majorly over reacting here.

So her "horrible" and "two faced" behavior is that she reported her kid wasn't getting what she needed in the class because of a disruptive child? That ...hardly seems like she was calling you out or blaming you.

No no, you misunderstood. All of that was going on in my classroom, but she reported me for not teaching her child, not being a good teacher, etc etc.

She reported ME and how I was failing her child, not the behavior or disruptions. She was upset about ME, not the terrible other child ruining it for everyone.

You need to just let this go. Sounds like you don't even like her so just stop being friends with her. If she confronts you, tell her you found out what happened at the old job.

I would do everything I could to make her life a living hell.

Avoid them and move on.
