| It depends on your age. I make sure my mom in her 80s gets her 10-15 min of sun a day - at her age there are many more upsides than downsides. Her skin cancer risk would come from exposure decades ago. She's also not getting sunburned. |

This is me too. People who are not redheads can’t comprehend what it’s like. There are two options. Red and white. And some freckles. There is no tan. Also family history of melanoma. Those of you with darker skin tones, you’ll still get age spots and leathery crepey skin some day. But your tans look nice when you are young. |
