How much daily sun is healthy ? Is any tan healthy?

Tanning and getting sufficient sun exposure for Vitamin D are two different things.

Later your skin will look like leather.

Not at all. It’s a tiny bit of color.
Vitamin D is essential.

This is what I said. Most of you are most definitely deficient.

People cannot see how manipulated and lied to they have been for so long. It's just so obvious that we are meant to absorb Vitamin D from the sun. Most sunblocks are toxic. Just use common sense, your own mind--if your IQ is not too far below average--and it's just not that hard to figure out. Sun exposusre, at moderate amounts is normal and healthy--if that makes you "tan," fine. And no, not everybody who gets a little darker looks like "leather." Again, too dense to just use your mind and some common sense.

While I agree that people have been manipulated into fearing sun (a little is good, a lot is bad), I think you should also do some self reflection.

You also have been manipulated. It’s easy to point fingers.

Well when you start a post off like that, it's easy to ignore everything afterwards.

Humans were meant to be in sunshine.

Don’t be such a sheep.

Your skin gets tan because your immune system is trying to ‘pull down the shades’ to keep the sun out of your body. Your immune system knows too much sun even if you don’t.

A tan = Too much sun = cellular damage

When you ignore everything someone says because you dislike the way they say it then you hurt only yourself.

You can wear more clothes instead of using lots of sunscreen.

No Sun = Vitamin D deficiency

The answer is that it depends. I highly recommend this article for a more balanced view of the pros and cons of sunshine.
