Maybe some other teams are finding team suits for a steal, but ours are the same price as an Aquablade- no $30-40 difference. I would consider an Aquablade a "racing" as opposed to a "training" suit, but definitely not a tech suit. (Not PP, just adding)

We get a speedo performance suit for our team. So not a practice suit. They are $40 for a girls suit and our HS used arena and it was $50 some.

Even with team suit pricing the aquablade is a much higher price point.

I can 100% of the time find aquablade on sale somewhere for $50-$60 for a girls suit (less for a boys suit). Our team suits are $60 and only available at SportFair not on sale. So the price ends up being a wash.

Right. Not a tech suit by any definition. People just love to hate on Arlington.

OKM is OKM…we like them a lot but definitely intense

Quite intense and we don’t like them. YMMV

They were terrible last year. Completely overmatched in D6.

They lost all of their swimmers and don't have much in the pipeline. Nice team too.

They had a group of superstars that all just quit swimming (club and rec). And they were amazing swimmers.

I wish they were in our division. I love their pool. If you have an away meet there, volunteer for table work. Its air conditioned and has a two story balcony for watching the races.

The HOA-only pools are at the mercy of the demographics of their neighborhood. If you don't have a lot of new younger families moving in, its hard to maintain a stronger swim team.

They had the numbers, just not a lot of young talent.

To lose those incredible swimmers though definitely was crushing. They had some of the top swimmers in the league. It is kind of sad when that kind of talent just gets burned out. The group used to be at one club and then moved clubs and after that, they quit the sport entirely.

We don’t live anywhere near Arlington, but our team suit is far more expensive than the $60 aquablade I bought for my kid to wear all year. And that’s what she wears all year, including all summer. It’s not like we are going out and buying a new aquablade for summer league <eyeroll>.

Not me I buy multiple suits for my kiddo during the summer especially at this age they grow so quickly , and yes I’ll buy an aqua blade if it fits . What’s the big deal?
