False 8

Rumor is: He got fired because he coaches for VA Dream and he was working full time at ASA and would beat ASA Men team bad. They weren’t happy about him being full time at ASA and beating their men’s team and helping another soccer project grow that isn’t ASA.

Right about him being full time staff with ASA and working in outside projects but was not with VA Dream. He joined VA Dream after ASA. But he was working within HS soccer at West Potomac and private training which caused problems with leadership. He is a great coach but some of these younger coaches can get ahead of themselves and want too much too fast. ASA leadership is a clown show so probably best he got out. He had an incident with foul language on the sideline and on the back of problems with ASA that got him the boot. Hopefully he has learned and goes on to be the good coach he is.

Don’t all coaches almost do private training on the side? And I would think coaching HS is common as well.

I know other coaches are HS coaches for clubs. Maybe it’s an ASA rule. I would assume the language was the main issue if true because ASA coaches regularly do private training.

Not aware of ASA situation but we have been involved with a few of the training environments in the area and I will say CJ is finally a coach that is giving real feedback beyond keep your head up and go faster. Its clear he has a good understanding of details and F8 needs a few more coaches to help with that

Both are common but 90% of coaches are part time and have a different set of rules. Also coaches are not allowed to do private training with players on their team. Conflict of interest. Basically he let outside things impact his attendance at his main job + language. Its so far gone so lets leave it at that

Oh he's not going to fit in with False 8. False 8 is about giving kids False expectation that is far from the reality.
