3) I'm not worried about this, just trying to understand it better

Nr. 2 is your answer. Congrats

His body, his choice. I would not bring it up because how would that change anything?

There it is.
Why did you start this thread OP?

Because she doesn't, as she explicitly stated, understand how that's relevant. Frankly, neither do I. Why would being gay mean you shave your legs? It's two unrelated things in my view

Seems just a few years ago all young boys were talking about "metrosexual" and stuff. Don't hear that word much anymore, but guess it's still a thing to be over-groomed?

Lots of men who tired it realized they prefer smooth skin and hair is annoying and chafing.

He probably perceives this is a way to be more attractive, much like the same reasons women feel they need to shave their body hair.

Then you and the OP are out of touch with reality. Why do you apparently insist on staying that way? Learn more.

Lots? No. Not even close. Some, perhaps. It's rare.
If it wasn't as time consuming for men, they might do it more. It's not like with women where a quick swipe with a razor on the lower legs is all it takes most days. Men grow coarse hair all over their legs.
