This is the obvious first step.
He will get teased relentlessly for it if it's not for something like bodybuilding or swimming.

Um..why?

It may be a bit uncommon, but how is it "worrying"? There's bigger things to worry about, the fact that our president is a freaking dictator for one!

My guess is that he might like boys. Nothing wrong with that

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community I can tell you that queer men aren't more or less likely to shave their legs than any other men. Not sure why people are saying this

Why would a boy get teased for shaving his legs? Who would even notice that?

OP here. LOL, DH was a college swimmer and he's told me he would shave his legs to reduce drag back then! But no, DS is not a swimmer

Does he ride a bike? Those guys usually shaved their legs back in the day.

Do you mean cyclists who shave their legs for aerodynamic benefit?

DP but yeah heard the Tour de France competitors do that. But don't think a kid will get away with that excuse among his peers.

On a side note, this thread reminds me of a movie in the 1980s, where a guy was held down and had one of his legs shaved by a doctor and nurses as a punishment or symbolic of something. I do remember them saying "just shave the left one nurse" or something like that. I never understood that scene.
Anyone remember what movie that was?

But OP, some boys and girls simply don't like new hair growing in places when they are in their teens and will start shaving or waxing. It's always been somewhat normal, though boys tend to want more hair, especially chest and even leg hair, to appear more manly, so maybe talk to him about why he shaves, in an non-judgmental way.

Back in the 2000s it was a trend. I always thought it was weird. Straight guys who weren't swimmers all did it for a minute.

I’ve not once heard of this as a trend in the 2,000s. Which we are still in.

Maybe so, but they're not wrong. There's bigger fish to fry than someone who chooses to shave their legs

I’ve noticed the younger generations prefer their men less hairy.

use your context clues. In this context PP is referring to the decade time period. Like 90s or 80s, 2000’s ) does in-fact mean 2000-2009.

When referring to 2000-2099 it would probably be called the 21st century
