This is very true! Don't think for a second our two rotten political parties are going to give up this power anytime soon. |
Exactly! The Rep paint every Dem as a socialist no matter what. Might as well run a true progressive with an economic kitchen table approach. |
True. The Dem party establishment is not so great either. Who is running things these days? |

Amen! |
But you need to adapt an outside-the-beltway mindset, and consider what state the country will be in by 2028. Despite some saying Kelly lacks charisma, I think by 2028 most people will be so beaten down they will want experienced, solid and ethical. Many Republicans will have had enough of Trump's bravado and b.s./"charisma" by then and will be willing to consider someone like Kelly. His resume and experience can win them over. Kelly can pick a younger person for his VP and draw in younger voters. |
Second Amen! |
Isn’t there a newish Dem party chair? |
MAGA troll alert |

Oprah? Michelle? Clooney?
I’ve yet to hear anyone here that commands a room. The candidate can’t be from the west coast or the I-95 corridor. They vote blue anyway. A veteran would be optimal. |

She’s not my favor but Whitmer is a moderate and she’s mentioned right there in the thread title. She won by 11 points in a swing state. |
