Sad that this is in entertainment. Pretty sure the all male submarine victims were at least in off-topic.

Do I care that a bunch of rich ladies went to space for the most expensive bachelorette party ever? Not really. Is it some kind of milestone for women? Eff no.

Katy Perry literally and dramatically kissed the ground after her 10-minutes of weightlessness.

Can you imagine the thoughts of the two real astronauts, stranded for NINE MONTHS on the space station (one of whom is a woman) as they watched Katy’s dumb little performance?

What's that quote? "One small step for womankind?"

What’s wrong with making money? Bezos will make a killing from this trip, why shouldn’t a woman try to make a few bucks as well?

I’m a total space nerd and agree that this stunt was embarrassing. Did they pay to go or were they paid to go?

On brand. She basically can’t accept that her music career is over so she keeps doing faux girl power stunts to promote more flop singles. Just like her “empowered” most recent album with…Dr. Luke.

This doesn't make me feel female empowerment in any way. It was a fail and the best they can hope is that the public's attention span will let it be forgotten quickly.

Wow the ugliness so typical DC. I think it is great that they did this adventure and sorry many people and me included would have freaked out going up in space. It was all so brave and easy to say it is easy because they all came back in one piece. They all looked beautiful-don’t be jealous that they all looked so pretty. Sheesh.

Would you comment about thr looks of an all male trip to space? Of course not. That is the issue with claiming this is important or a women’s empowerment achievement- it’s all about looks.

I'm proud that I don't know who half these people are.

Who actually flew the shuttlecock?
