Right, that is what kids want and need in a Student Center - architectural accolades. I am not sure what your beef is about this school, but your posts are increasingly bizarre.

Yet, others are claiming it's some architectural marvel...maybe read the forum before jumping to the last comment next time.

Please point me to the comment calling it an "architectural marvel." I'll wait. I saw folks complimenting it as a student center - yes, sure, you were there as well dissing it many times - but the only comment I saw re aesthetics was the "Adirondack-style" one and, having been inside Paresky, I understand that allusion. But I would love to know where your opinion of the school comes from, since you do not seem to know very much about it.

OMG I've been there on parents' day. It's a dump (yes, I was really at Williams! and stayed in the dorms! and went to church. And ate a the best local restaurant! There is no architectural marvel here!).

Well, hostile one, it was a dorm south of the main drag. I parked and then went west into the dorm, up one flight of stairs. It was pretty unpleasant. Church was a catholic church to the north east. The restaurant was the best one in town, east side of a northsouth street. Shall I continue?

NP next time try the restaurant at the Williams Inn. It's great. I love that whole hotel situation there. Also the sandwich place with the sandwiches named after the Williamstown festival actors is terrific. If it's still open.

Never seen it clearer that someone is lying than this. “main drag” this isn’t Austin, sweetie.

Friends and Family Weekend/Family days are not called parents days and parents don’t stay in dorms, so this is all a lie.

Best restaurant…on the east side of a northsouth street? The rest of it is plausible, but PP did not eat at the best local restaurant.

I was slightly underwhelmed by Williams' campus (I had high hopes) but the way the old library has been incorporated into the larger, expanded, steel and glass new one really is beautiful. One of the more exciting moments I've had on many tours of NE privates.

My DS accepted to Williams College, but opted for another school. It happens.

It's a respectable school, but the rural nature would've drastically harmed my college experience and professional development in college. I think it's a great choice to delay for 4 years in the most intensive academic environment possible.

Interesting, thoughtful comment. Thank you.
