The troll has a fixation. Middlebury already said that they were working back to 2500 on campus and would likely be there by fall. They were back to 2550 this past fall and will get under 2500 by spring. They want to be at 2400-2500 on campus, they have said what they want but someone just can’t get their head around….”listen to what I am saying”.

Their social mobility metrics were always poor. The biggest contributor to their USNWR decline was their financial resources dropping once it focused on academics.

You couldn’t have picked better examples of schools known for being soft on their students once admitted, but at least they have 100x the brand recognition of a Middlebury.

Their financial resources score was 4th before US News removed the country club expenditures. THAT is the biggest reason for the drop. The Pell grant grad rates in 2018 were almost the same as now.
