I wear a wardrobe centered in great jeans and cashmere in fall/ winter - dresses and long skirts (I prefer silk maxi with a tshirt or tank) in spring/summer. A good camel coat, black coat, leather jacket, suede jacket, two trench coats.

I’ll note all is helped by being slim and in shape

You just outed yourself as a fat women who wears absolutely none of these clothes. It's truly obvious when people come on here and lie.

I have died. Bless you, dcum.

It's not a proper thread until we are all calling each other fat!

To say nothing of the electromagnetic targeting.

These are all preteen stores.

I have teens and they definitely think Anthro is an old lady store. I think Anthro is more in the 30-something demographic. Some of their stuff works great for 50 year olds but some of it not at all.

Agree. I’m in my 50s and got the pants I wear to work all the time at Anthro.

Seriously? Yet another reason we’re all going to hell in a hand basket.

This is basically me. Lots of gap or old navy leggings and sports bras if i'm going to the gym. Also Everlane and Theory for work stuff.

Lots of Theory and Brooks Brothers with random fill in from J Crew, Quince, and other places. I try not to buy trendy (obvious from my selections) and to buy higher quality fabrics that will last. Cannot stand fast fashion these days.

I was shopping at Anthro at Mosaic today and remembering this post and laughing. There were two accessory tables up at the front: one had jewelry and the other ... reading glasses. Lol. Definitely aiming at the old lady demographic. No question about it. You won't walk into a clothing store aimed at the "preteen" and see an entire table of reading glasses for sale. Also, I loved pretty much everything, and I'm 54. So yeah, Anthropologie is an an old lady store. Not like Talbot's and JJill, but an old lady store nevertheless at this point. It's aged along with it's target demographic, I think.

They had some very cute stuff though; if you like fruit themed stuff, check it out. Lots of tanks, tshirts, and sweaters with cherries, strawberries, lemons, tomatoes, etc on them. Very cute.

The witches are way too cool to get anywhere near a Chicos let alone have a meeting there.
