Old navy is lthe plastic bags of clothing. You wear it once and have to toss it. It’s like paper thin and can’t be washed.

Target is completely overpriced for what it is. Everything costs $30 and Id rather spend $50 at Nordstrom/Anthro.

Anthro and Nordstrom are humongous and it takes a lot of digging to find what fits me at a fairly reasonable price. But I keep what I find that I like — usually for several years.

Talbots and Ann Taylor for work pants and sometimes a plain white knit top or something I need to replace often. Both are pretty ugh, and their non sale stuff is just a rip off.

I like Title 9 and Marine Layer as well.

Tuckernuck sometimes, although it also takes a lot trying on and I end up returning a lot. Which is fine. A lot of brand overlap with Nordstrom, so frequently I’ll buy from Nordstrom since they are so good about price matching.

I’ll add bloomies but honestly so much overlap with Nordstrom that i just get tired and land at Nordstroms.

It’s basically hard to get me out of Nordstroms.

Wait I should talk trash about the Target dresses. Nothing makes me happier than fighting a $30 target dress to throw on to run errands, grab lunch with friends or god forbid wear to the office a few times. I usually wear them just that season but so what?

Talbots, Chicos, and JJill are all: "For the Woman Who Has Given Up."

I think of myself more as a “woman who has given up all her f$&s to give” but all kinds of giving up are welcome at Chico’s I’m pretty sure.

We need our Chico’s capris to be stretchy to fit in all the money we’re hoarding to keep it from the younger generations.

Chicos is actually where we hold the witch meetings now.

I can see the ad now:

Woman one, in snappy capris:
“I’ve given up hosting my MIL, because she’s a bish.”
Woman two, putting on glasses attached to a beaded chain:
“I’ve given up faking orgasms.”
Woman three, in a full coverage yet festive swim cover up:
“I’ve given up paying taxes. No one is checking anyway!”

Chico’s: for all the ways you’ve given up.

I wear a wardrobe centered in great jeans and cashmere in fall/ winter - dresses and long skirts (I prefer silk maxi with a tshirt or tank) in spring/summer. A good camel coat, black coat, leather jacket, suede jacket, two trench coats.

I’ll note all is helped by being slim and in shape

You just outed yourself as a fat women who wears absolutely none of these clothes. It's truly obvious when people come on here and lie.

I recently walked into an Old Navy and a Chicos. I had to turn around and leave because the smell of chemicals was overwhelming.

You should go around spotting all the liars. I’d find it cathartic.
