This is the time to do it. Take a group and go somewhere and dominate. Check ECNL teams across the board. Even weak teams. Some don’t even have a team in every age group because they aren’t ready to play at that level but are forced to be there by contract. You could take a whole team and dominate the field with your ECNL team. This is great.
whut?! Vda is stacked. Fvu is stacked. Arl is weak outside of the 2011s. Not a lot of wiggle room. But by all means try out.

NVA was banking on a trapped audience. Hold the line and go anywhere else if it doesn’t work out.

Stacked based on what metric? Wins? Unless a group has gone out and won a National Championship for their respective league, I'd say nobody is safe anywhere and depending on who shows up and what that coach is looking for, there are plenty of places to play if players just show up.

Priority always goes to current roster players. You will find 60 players or more competing for a spot or two. Good luck with that.

I mean a good chunk of everybody's roster is going to be safe. You'll have a full year of history (at least) of seeing them play/practice, their commitment to consistently showing up, synergy with existing teammates, etc. You can't rebuild all of that off of who flashes at a couple of ID sessions.

Nobody said it would happen, but for the idea to be put out there that these higher tier teams have little to no room is ridiculous. Point being is there is ALWAYS room for a player if they are able to displace another and it will happen if a team wants to continue to rise.

VDA has a few really good ECNL Teams. This won't last though. The way they play, some will get injured, some will leave for other reasons, maybe not playing enough, etc. I give them a few years, maybe one national championship ecnl and then it blows up again. It's youth soccer.

And she’s achieved what, exactly? Damn, I hate seeing my club shooting themselves with trashy coaches, no wonder we can’t outmaneuver Loudoun/NVA

It would be smart for them but I’ll believe it when I see it, too many drinking the kool aid over there

VRSC staff is heavily involved in these forums and hoping for an influx because they know they won’t recreate what FCV had going on. But hey, since money ain’t the problem it doesn’t really matter. Until Jim gets tired of the financial hemorrhage. Then, you’re outta luck, dok

No it does not. Not any club. Almost all of the nva teams will turn over because there are spots on Vda and Arlington. Most of fvu will also turn over. People cut from Vda and Arlington will go to the GA teams.
