We'll be saying the same thing about Arlington in 12 months, when they make the move for MLSNext.
arlington has incentive to do so. One winning girls team wont cut it…. But that may change w the edition of mclean/nva players

Most of the people on here making negative comments about NVA's move to GA are not NVA parents, just trolls disguised as such. The same trolls will be changing their tune when they realize the club they currently play for wants to, and will make the same switch within the near future (12 months)

Makes sense. MLSN and GA are actively working to enter the Prince William County market as well. If VDA declines and a competing club is invited, in a year things could get very interesting.

NVSC to GA/MLSN?!

i was told VDA is going GA. Wouldn’t be shocked if they got an invite…. Would be shocked if they take it.

DA 2.0 isn’t for our generation of girls whose college coaches are going to ecnl events. Maybe the littles down the road but not our big girls. 4+years out

If that’s where it’s going in 4 years isn’t it smart of NVA to go now when they can dominate?

The bigger picture is that there’s enough clubs for mls/ga and ECNL to both be in the northern Virginia market. Not every kid wants to play in college but wants to play competitively. I think both leagues will reflect that. I also think ECNL will continue to be better for girls especially going forward.

lol this is very on brand for LS. If you ever thought they have a crap about girls soccer, news flash, they don’t.

If you ever thought these leagues or clubs are about player development, news flash, they are businesses built on marketing.

Disgraceful leadership at NVA

Ding ding ding.

Have you ever seen what ECNL/USCS spends on their marketing budget? It's CRAZY.

NVA doesn't "dominate" anything. Except nepotism. They rule that.

Arlington definitely has reason to shift to MLSN for the boys. They would make a big impact for the area they're based in, but they were in GA for a year and left, wondering if that soured any relationships for them.

Bridges were burned and will not turn. Going out the door was not a good time. Arlington dislikes GA as much as GA dislikes Arlington. Not possible.

What will happen is that NVA girls will leave -- most of them --- and take slots at VDA and Arlington. Those displaced girls may then be looking to NVA. Not sure why people are saying no slots. ECNL clubs in the area are looking at this as the time to grab girls from NVA and to a lesser extent from FVU.

On this board the story is that GA is on the rise but that is the opposite of what is going on.
