How many NVA Girls ECNL players leaving club

Makes sense. MLSN and GA are actively working to enter the Prince William County market as well. If VDA declines and a competing club is invited, in a year things could get very interesting.

DA 2.0 isn’t for our generation of girls whose college coaches are going to ecnl events. Maybe the littles down the road but not our big girls. 4+years out

If that’s where it’s going in 4 years isn’t it smart of NVA to go now when they can dominate?

NVA doesn't "dominate" anything. Except nepotism. They rule that.

they think we don’t pay attention to who got those invites and why. Team managers, older siblings and nepotism babies. Cant market everyone and won’t in a lesser league w even less visibility

outside of the 11s/12s NVA is mid to bottom of the table in the high school ages, while VDA is near the top and Arlington is Mid to top. So realistically speaking how many NVA players are going to be able to make those rosters? not most of them, maybe 3 or 4. Just because nepotism is alive and well at NVA, doesn't mean they'll get the same treatment at VDA, FVU or Arlington.

This is true, just a side gripe here...we've been at 2 clubs and on each team there have been parents who openly complain about something and they are always looking to co-opt other parents into their negative vortex. At my current club, we have one mom who always poops on every conversation with something negative, and she's leaving the club and thinks others should follow her lead out the door this summer. It's tiresome for sure....

Hey, the Team Manager job is voluntary and open to anyone. I've done it for 4 years now at the little level, and some parents are jealous and yet offer zero help with social events uniforms, fundraising or hotel lodging arrangements. Sometimes, it's helpful families who are picked for some teams and not the PIA parents of average kids.

VDA is so up right now they have a damn townhall on YouTube. BP will Be cherry picking from a flood of talent. On recruitment stats there is X account that posts them. Definitely a big separation.

VDA has done it this way for the past few years, nothing new.

As a parent who has seen how BP operates from when he was at FCV, he's a fantastic promoter and a great salesman. Any actual parent on here that's had first hand experience with him when he was at FCV can confirm this as well. Maybe he's pushing that agenda of only ECNL now but really it's anything to push what will work in his favor, while at FCV the message was always that it doesn't matter what the league is and now it's ECNL or bust, lol.

VDA was already doing very well with the older girls. How well they recruit 2012 and 2013 girls will be interesting because all signs point to GA being the stronger league when those years are looking to get recruited.

Top 3 VA 2013 teams are clubs in GA or heading To GA, Coppermine in MD, CSA/SJEB/REAL/STA in jersey. Lots of good teams around, question is can the clubs retain around here.
