Also how does the psychiatrist make the connection to the cheese fry waitress?

How did the president find out about Sinatra’s underground build in Colorado? Was she always building that for him?

Cal was the president of the U.S. and also president of the underground colony--can we call this "Paradise"? I don't know if it has an official name.
Also to make this post a little easier to follow (and to write ... I had to look up the character names...)

Kane = Cal's dad, mega rice oil baron
Cal = president
Jeremy = Cal's son/Kane's grandson

Anyway, Kane and his company were involved in Paradise's build. Remember how Jeremy went to his grandpa to get his fingerprint(?) to access to the password-locked folder on the tablet? That information (recordings made by the explorers who went to the surface) was locked until he used Grandpa's biometrics. Cal himself wasn't cleared to have access to it even though he had supposedly the highest level of clearance as president. His dad was definitely intimately involved in the forming of Paradise and I'm guessing had significant power until his dementia took over.

We know that Cal's dad basically pushed him into a career in politics. Remember how he wanted to quit and teach high school and Kane said absolutely not?? That he came from a long line of men who had shaped the world and that teaching teenagers Catcher in the Rye was not going to cut it.

I don't know if we officially know that Paradise was in progress when Cal's political career first began but I'm guessing that it was well underway by the time he was put into office, even if he didn't know about it yet. Wasn't there even a scene where he was commenting how crazy it was that he got re-elected? I think we're supposed to think that someone was pulling strings behind the scenes. Dad and his billionaire buddies needed someone high up in the government for various reasons and that was Cal's purpose.

Does that help answer your question?

[SPOILER]

The psychiatrist reviewed the data for everyone who came in looking for any oddities. They tracked that the original owner of the wristband had a cashew allergy ... the waitress assumed her identity .... but not the allergy ... so that was how she was caught.

I didn’t ask this question, but thank you!

If you simply watch the show instead of scrolling on your phone, it’s quite obvious.

I’m wondering how that poster knew anything happened with the cheese fry lady if she didn’t see how the connection was made. Was t that whole storyline covered in one episode?
