The tell for me is that I have't rushed to watch the episodes past the pilot. I will, just not really that compelling.

PP here.
I've changed my tune, came to find it very compelling by the end of ep 2.
NP. Good to know, I was debating if I should keep going after the first episode. Now I plan to watch the 2nd episode tonight.

OP here. It was just renewed for season 2.

I’m a big fan of the music, too. But I also liked the way music was used in This Is Us.

I saw the first two episodes. The first episode was good. The second episode was really cheesy and reminded me more of This is Us.

Also, we didn’t really find it believable that James Marsden character was into that kind of cheesy starship music. He’s probably be more into like nirvana.

I will stick with it, but it’s a little cheesy and it better get better

I like both, but I do think that Silo has a much bleaker, and therefore more realistic, portrayal of what it would be like to live underground after a nuclear event (or whatever the hell happened in Silo).

It's hilarious to me that of all the unbelievable things in Paradise, THIS is what you've fixated on!

James Marsden has always felt cheesy to me so that music makes perfect sense. And don't get me wrong, I like him! I am really enjoying this show. I gave it a chance because of Sterling and James and am not disappointed. My 80+ mom likes it too

It's dumb, but absolutely the right kind of dumb.

Do you think every house has a shower like that?

I'm the pp and I'm hooked. Just finished episode 4. Wow, did not see that coming!

I am loving this. My national security husband keeps telling me this is not as far fetched as you think.

I always wonder about this sort of thing!

The most recent episode was so stressful, but good.

I'm so glad it is renewed for a 2nd season.

I’m the OP and it was just too stressful for me, especially in our real life political climate. It’s making me reevaluate if I want to finish the series.

That last episode packed such an emotional punch, and it was a great showcase for Sterling showing a tremendous range of emotions. It’s interesting to see the intensity and emotional relationships contrasted with the cold utilitarianism of who was chosen. Marcia really believed her loyalty would be rewarded, at least for her child. But whatever Marcia’s skill set, it’s not important to Paradise , so there’s no chance for little Edward.

SKB was my least favorite character in This Is Us but I decided to give this a shot because my adult son recommended it. I'm not completely sure whether it was the character or the actor I don't like. I've watched one episode of Paradise and I guess he's not annoying me too much. Also, I really like James Marsden especially since Jury Duty.

I do not like shows that put words on the screen that say things like FIVE YEARS AGO because I am not always looking at the TV and boy do I get confused!
