They already have them

No, they don't. Why no MLS 2 for Achilles FC?

It’s a boutique. Almost all other programs have 3-6 teams in each age group. Achilles FC does not (each age group has just one other team under each age group—they play in EDP).

Possibly, but also very likely top players from that team are currently trying out for top MLSN and ECNL teams. Many may have already accepted offers.

It’s MLSNext, not MLSN. If you just joined the league, congrats. Now, learn how to spell it.

But they still could have their 2nd teams in MLS Next 2. So why not?

Agreed

MLS Next II account the clubs that are in it. Each club has different level of teams. So Coppermine probably already has a team in MLS Next and this is their next lower team in MLS Next II.

This will be McLean’s top team. They are moving from ECNL, not ECNL-R, so the travel requirements will be about the same.

This is certainly what McLean hopes. But I am not sure how they think they can convince current ECNL players that MLS Next II is a better (or even equivalent) option to ECNL. And even tier 2 players may not come because there is not tier 1 possibility (ECNL or MLS Next).

So gents, is MLS Next II BY or SY? Or, is it still an open question?

Coppermine was in ECRL not MLSN. So just a lateral move, ECRL to MLS2. Probably made the move because ECRL North Atlantic and Northeast South have weird overlaps so forces too much unnecessary travel for a regional league. They weren't even in the same ECRL league as Celtic and Pipeline.

Nope they just move the 1st and 2nd team to Pipeline to Join ECNL and play at the top level instead of a tier II level like Coppermine has been playing at.

Not correct. McLean's top teams (Green and currently in ECNL RL) are movng to MLSN II. There hasn't been McLean ECNL in several years (Union). The MLSN II teams will be filled with McLean ECNL RL teams and a few (many) of the FVU players that got cut

Everybody calls it MLSN. What rock did you crawl out from under? If you don’t like it keep scrolling.
