what is it? is it the same as NAL? where second teams from MLNS play? |
Yet another money grab. This one though with more legitimacy since it bears the brand MLS on it so it’s easy to convince parents to pay up! |
SYC is advertising for their Tier 2 tryouts as well |
SYC has been fooling parents by calling their second team 'MLS Next II'. They got in trouble and now call their second team NAL. |
They didn’t get in trouble, stop making stuff up. If you look at mls clubs around the country. Many call their B teams mls2.
The new mls tier 2 league is basically mls2 but mls next will be leading and running it this time instead of NAL. Mls next handles all the applications and who gets in or not. |
Who hurt your feelings? |
hear lots of nova and md clubs applied, is this true? |
Lots of clubs applied I’m sure.
The kicker is is MLSN said “once accepted, you have to move your girls side over to GA” |
Do you think girls will ride the wave or move to another ECNL team and then back to GA once GA upskills the competitive environment to match or exceed ECNL? |
MLSN hasn't said that, ECNL is the one with the rule to have both your Girls and Boys top teams in ECNL (Except for the original 6 or so participants Bethesda, FC Delco, PDA, etc) If MLSN were to use that tactic in reverse, many teams would leave ECNL on the girls side and go to GA. |
Doubt it. ASA could not do it then. The girls are not in GA and boys are in MLSN. |
it appears that NAL continues existing alongside to MLSN2, since NAL is accepting applications for 2025-26 season? |
and then that would be the club's third team SYC's ranking order: MLS Next MLS Next II NAL |
I think NAL will be renamed MLSN II. Currently, NAL is just for teams that have their first teams on MLSN. |
Has to be better than RL, ECNL-RL/VPSL around here is terrible.
Rather be in a club with MLS/MLS tier 2 and GA with 2nd teams in EDP than the RL that's around here. |
