Au revoir, Mon Ami Gabi.

I completely agree.

I guess food that tastes like nothing -- like a Mexican place that wasn't even remotely authentic. I can handle inauthentic but delicious -- I'm fine with a Chili's! But we have a local place where the chips are like cardboard and the salsa is sweet. Nothing else about the meal was any good, either. So, off the list.

For me it wasn't the restaurant -- my kid went to the bathroom -- and threw up in the bathroom and then again walking back to our table and then all over our table.

We left a giant tip and never returned.

Pad thai, like most Thai foods, are made with fish and not vegetarian. Sorry.

I went to a local place where they honest to God served marinara instead of salsa with the chips. The proprietor insisted that it was salsa. It tasted sweet like Ragu!

Now the platters are 1/2 the size, more expensive, all the fixings that used to come on/and with the sizzling platter are now extras and super tiny dollops for $$. The go-to drinks seem less alcoholic and in turn, they've invented super expensive drinks, desserts, and table side offerings--IMO, they strayed too far from their bread and butter offerings. We went weekly for years, sometimes a 1 1/2 hour wait. Now maybe 2-3 times a year.

Uncle Julio’s right? We stopped going altogether.

Cockroach on the floor running around under the tables. We pointed it out to the waitstaff, left, and never went back. My assumption is that if we saw one running around that boldly in the open, there must be many, many more in the corners of the kitchen.

They went out of business about 6 months later.
