History will. Just like history treats Columbus today. Unfortunately the Carib aren't around to gloat. Hope you sleep well tonight. You did the same thing. |
No I didn’t. I’m first generation so my ancestors weren’t even here, try again. And actually Columbus Day was initially created to help soothe tensions with Italian immigrants after the lynching of 11 Italians, but you know everything so. |
You did. There are times that matter and times that don't. Congratulations, you and your friends struck the final blow against Palestine. As they know say in Khan Yunus and Ramallah, L'chaim |
I suspect very few voters had Gaza at top of mind during the election. The situation there is of the Gazans' own making and the results of their internal politics, which makes it of little interest to most U.S. voters. The alliances and alignments in the Middle East are well established, and are not going to change just because some vocal members of the Palestinian diaspora who enjoy the benefits of U.S. residence declaim loudly that Gaza should be a priority issue for the U.S. |
Maybe Trump would at least hire Palestinians to work at the resort unlike the Israelis who did not allow many Palestinians to work. If they work, they are less likely to get into trouble with Hamas. |
Musk is minor league compared to the thugs at AIPAC. |
In the months prior to 10/7, the Biden administration was working hard to finalize a peace agreement between Israel and Saudi. The deal would have resulted in Saudi recognizing Israel and halting their pivot to China in return for the US supporting the development of the Saudi civilian nuclear program and Israel commitments to Palestinian autonomy. It would have been a huge win for the Biden administration, but China and Iran stood to lose big from the deal.
The events on and after 10/7 completely demolished it. While I’m not a fan of conspiracy theories, it’s interesting that the 10/7 attack happened as this deal was being finalized. Maybe we’ll find out at some point that there was a connection. Maybe, we won’t. People should also remember that, prior to the IDF’s invasion of Gaza a few days after 10/7, the Biden administration put as much pressure as they could on Sisi to at least allow Palestinian women and children to cross the border into Sinai so that they wouldn’t be obliterated in the forthcoming onslaught. Sisi adamantly refused to let them in. I see no reason why he would now. |
Was it any surprise that Egypt didn't want anything to do with the Gazans? What country in their right mind would import people whose entire history has been one of attempting to destabilize and overthrow their nearest neighbor? Until they change their tune, they will remain unwelcome everywhere. |
Nobody wanted Jews in 1930s either. |
So what are the pro-Palestinian activists saying now? I don't follow any and I have avoided this topic because I am just an average person who can't see any solution. |
You can go to the threads from last spring where people like me warned that Jared had rights to beachfront property in Gaza and this was the endgame if Trump won. Well, here we are. I hope all those Arab voters in Michigan are happy now. |
Narrator: there was a connection |
They can really make the place look nice. Look to what Dubai did in the desert. It would be amazing |
Says the person whose language originated in the 19th century. |
My language is English moron and I'm an American first. I cared about Palestine long before it crossed your TikTok feed. But unlike you I didn't vote in favor of having Palestine ethnically cleansed and America turned into an oligarchy. |
