I didn't realize what had happened when I was watching, which only reinforces what a good save it was. But any respect I might have had for her performance was completely negated by her failure to shake hands with VP Harris. She did shake hands with Biden, Trump, and Vance. Gratuitously disrespectful behavior.

Regardless of politics, Carrie has a great voice and is something that can vocally deal with a tech issue. Almost all performers on big stages use a backing track.
