Yea it really sucks for Biden considering he could have retired while leaving behind a positive legacy instead of being remembered as the selfish guy that gave Trump a second term. |
Their entire party is a mess. Can’t they find a reputable leader? |
There was no 2024 primary, obviously. If voters had a say, they would never have selected Biden to run for reelection. |
selfish?? he came out of retirement and beat Trump in 2020. Who knows where we would be now if Trump was president for 8 years in a row. History will look kindly on Biden for serving the American people as opposed to Trump, who only serves himself. |
How exactly does a “self made” low paid politician get as wealthy as Joe? |
I don’t think Trump would have survived back to back terms so we would have had Pence. |
| History won't be kind to Jill Biden. |
Biden's parents were not working class. That was a myth he promoted. He was raised middle class. Not wealthy (although I think his dad was born to wealth but lost it.) He was NOT the first to go to college. He bragged about his grandfather playing football at a college in California. Claimed he was "All American." (No proof of that) How many "self made" men that you know are given Corvettes by their dad for a wedding present? His first wife was extremely wealthy. You do know he had to drop out of his first run for President because of his plagiarism? Many of his stories are myths. I don't claim he grew up wealthy. He did not. His big trauma as a child was having to move from Scranton to Wilmington. I don't know about you, but most people I know have family members who have made moves for work. It may not be "happy" but it is not usually traumatic/ Bill Clinton was raised poor. I don't think Carter was raised wealthy, but his dad did own a peanut business and Carter was wealthy when elected. Reagen was probably the last GOP not born to wealth. Obama's family was not poor. His grandmother was vice-president of a bank. |
Thank you. Biden's father was wealthy but lost his wealth to gambling and alcoholism but Biden grew up a rich kid. He lies about so much of his past. The Hunter family dislikes him and Jill. Nellia introduced Jill to Biden. She started as the babysitter for the boys and worked her way up to Biden. |

Earlier on her book tour Pelosi said some things about Biden that made me C immediately think “shots fired.” I wasn’t impressed. She was complaining that she was disappointed by Biden. The Pelosis seem to have a double standard. I can shiv you because it’s just politics. Nancy and her daughter are pissed the Biden’s are treating Nancy the way she treated them AND f’ed up Democracy.
AOC was telling the truth about the rich, white, establishment Dems. You know who has never underestimated the misogyny and racism in America—Black women. They were not calling for Biden to drop out because they knew the risk. Dem elites like Pelosi have been living in their own delusional bubble for years. They don’t understand the voters who decide elections or that in this polarized election it’s about turning out your base and getting the resources to the community organizations that will do that. Not freaking focus groups and messaging. Turn out every vote through community grassroots groups and scare them with the truth negative ads not feel good positive ads. |
The great irony is Pelosi actually wasn’t born into wealth. She was born into privilege and power within her community for sure — but really just in Little Italy. She’s a first generation American on her mother’s side. Her father was the political boss of a slum. Not a wealthy area at all. There wasn’t family money. She married into money. Absolutely, 100x over. But she’s one of seven children and the only one who’s rich. Her brothers are mostly lower middle class Dundalk types. She wasn’t born with money. She took the privileges she had and worked her way into wealthy spaces. You can say what you want about women who do that. But it demonstrates a lot more hustle than being born into money does. |
| I never liked Pelosi. I had dealings with her years ago and I was not impressed. I always felt she was a political hack. However, during the last Trump administration, my respect for her grew. She knew that she needed to keep discipline and order and not let Trump’s bad actions stand. She actually remembers what Congress’ role is in this country and it’s not to bend the knee to anyone, And far from being a fair-weather friend, it probably was only Pelosi who had the connection, influence, and cojones to tell Joe he had to go. Normally I’m not fond of blaming wives for their husband’s faults, but it should have been Jill that prevented Joe from running in the first place. Nancy had to step up and do what Jill would not. |
Presidents have immunity. The SC declared this. |
Agree 100%!! I'm okay with Nancy clinging on to power for a few more years in a non leadership role. She is smart and decent enough to know that people her age, Biden's age, and Trump's age should be no where close to occupying The White House. |
This is exactly right. |
