It's so fascinating to me how Jill Biden seems to think personal relationships should come before the good of the country.

It was rumored that Pelosi threatened President Biden with using the 25th amendment to oust him if he didn't voluntarily resign. Who among us would not be angry if our spouse had been threatened in a similar manner.

Quite frankly, I believe that Biden would have won because we Dems lost millions of votes to trump because of misogyny and racism as well as Democrats who simply chose not to vote. It's a fascinating,"if" and we will never know.

Lady Nancy Macbeth Pelosi was not innocent in this fiasco and no matter whether she or her daughter shouts "Out, damned spot! out, I say!” it is there forever.

Ridiculous. Every bit of polling out there showed Kamala doing better than Biden. She was immediately polling 6% better than Biden when she was selected, and raised a billion and a half dollars. You need to find something else to blame.

Much of that money was in the pot for Biden and transferred over. I think an open convention and a primary process shouldve happened but the Biden administration was dishonest and kept the public in the shadows about how bad Biden's condition really was. I think Obama, Pelosi, Schumer and others were as gobsmacked as we were watching that debate. It was obvious we were lied to by the president's inner circle and that it is a security risk for the country for Biden to continue on. I wonder who was reading his presidential briefings every morning. Surely, it was not Joe Biden.

I guess now that the admin is on the way out, all the tell alls will come out.

Actually, I remember a lot of people talking about his mental decline. It was obvious from watching him. The press covered it up (“cheap fakes”) and said it was right wing “disinformation”. Every democratic politician out there publicly stated that he was fine, sharp as a tack, including Kamala. I think the complete dishonesty from the democratic apparatus and the press had quite a bit to do with the final outcome.

Now the GOP apparatus and the media is covering up for Trump and his doddering, incoherent mental decline.

You do know he had to drop out of his first run for President because of his plagiarism? Many of his stories are myths. I don't claim he grew up wealthy. He did not. His big trauma as a child was having to move from Scranton to Wilmington. I don't know about you, but most people I know have family members who have made moves for work. It may not be "happy" but it is not usually traumatic/

Bill Clinton was raised poor. I don't think Carter was raised wealthy, but his dad did own a peanut business and Carter was wealthy when elected. Reagen was probably the last GOP not born to wealth. Obama's family was not poor. His grandmother was vice-president of a bank.

The myth is that Clinton was raised poor because his father deserted him and his mother and they lived with her parents. Clinton's mother was a surgical nurse and made decent money. He went to Georgetown which even then wasn't cheap and worked on the Hill as many students did. He is hardly rags to riches.

His father didn't desert him. He was a drunken womanizer who died three months before he was born-he drowned after a car crash. He did desert a multidude of kids and wives before Bill though. He was married five times and was a bigamist who was already married to another woman when he married Virginia Blythe Clinton.
Bill has tons of older half siblings from his father that he does not know.

Joe's issue was not his age... it was and is his cognition. And, the Democrats and Joe's staff hid his decline from the American people.
We are just lucky that none of our adversaries pulled anything during his last months in office.

This is why it’s important the right cabinet members are screened by Congress, to ensure the government can continue to function.
